BIGSPY AI operates bigspyai.com, a directory that helps people discover and compare AI tools, software, online services and products. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Information We Collect
- Messages you send us: your name, email address and message when you contact us, and the business and website details you provide when you request a listing.
- Account and order data: if you create an account or buy a listing through our checkout, we keep your name, email, billing details and order history. Card payments are handled by the payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
- Usage data, with your consent: Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location, which we see only in aggregate.
- Technical and security data: our hosting and security services process IP addresses, browser details and request times to keep the site available and protected from spam and abuse.
- Listing click counts: when you click “Visit Website”, we add one to that listing’s daily total. We do not store who clicked; repeat clicks are recognised with a daily-rotating, one-way hash that is discarded within 24 hours.
2. How and Why We Use Information
- To reply to your messages and handle listing requests (steps you ask us to take before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering you).
- To process paid listings and orders, and to keep invoices and accounting records (performance of a contract and legal obligations).
- To measure and improve the directory with analytics (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To protect the site against spam, fraud and abuse (our legitimate interest in running a secure service).
3. Paid Listings, Sponsored Content and Affiliate Links
BIGSPY AI earns money from paid listings and from affiliate commissions. Paid placements are labeled “Sponsored”, and affiliate relationships are explained in our Affiliate Disclosure. When you follow an affiliate link, the partner or its affiliate network can record that the visit came from BIGSPY AI. We do not send them your name, email or other personal details.
4. Cookies and Consent
We use functional cookies to run the site and, only with your consent, statistics and marketing cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the Manage consent button. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
5. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, under agreements that limit their use of it:
- our website hosting provider;
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager and Site Kit) for statistics, with your consent;
- Automattic (Akismet) for spam protection;
- payment and email providers when you buy a listing or write to us;
- authorities, when the law requires it.
Some providers process data outside your country. Where required, they use safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How Long We Keep Data
- Messages and listing requests: as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up.
- Orders and invoices: for the period required by tax and accounting law.
- Analytics data: according to the data retention setting of our Google Analytics property.
- Consent choices: up to 12 months, after which we ask again.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
